WATCH: Maryland WR scorches Rutgers’ defense for 80-yard TD on first play

After two weeks of being unable to muster any big plays on offense, the Maryland Terrapins got back on track Saturday with an 80-yard touchdown against Rutgers.

Following the Scarlet Knights’ missed field-goal attempt, Maryland quickly attacked a Rutgers’ secondary that has been victimized all season. Terrapins quarterback Josh Jackson hit receiver Dontay Demus Jr. on a quick slant and he ran untouched into the end zone for the big-play score.

Perhaps Rutgers should offer its services to offenses desperately needing momentum. After getting demolished by the Michigan Wolverines offense in Week 6, the Scarlet Knights appear poised for the same fate against Maryland.
