WATCH: Marshal Yanda spit on Vontaze Burfict while he was on the ground

It’s safe to say that Marshal Yanda has no love for Vontaze Burfict based on what he did to the linebacker during Sunday’s game between the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals.

Burfict had just gone really low on a tackle, sparking somewhat of a pileup as players got into it a bit on the ground. Then, as Burfict was still laying on the ground, his head facing up into the sky, Yanda dropped a huge glop of spit on him.

Now, Burfict has a reputation for being one of the dirtiest players we’ve seen in a long time. He has repeatedly, purposefully gone after players with the intent to injure.

So it’s understandable that players on rival teams would despise him. But the NFL needs to take a serious look at this, regardless. Yanda at the least needs to be fined heavily, if not suspended.
