It’s often said that an asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs. While that might be true, we’re starting to think it was Charlotte Hornets shooting guard Malik Monk after he posterized three Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old guard took off on his way to the paint with three different defenders trying to stop him. Instead, Monk soared through the air and threw down an epic slam to posterize the Raptors and send the basketball screaming through the hoop like an asteroid towards earth.
Monk has always had tremendous athleticism since coming into the league and he put it on display against Toronto. Not only was the dunk incredible and a poster every basketball fan would love to have, but now we feel like we know who should star in the next Jurassic World movie.
