Bumgarner became the first pitcher ever to hit two home runs on Opening Day with an absolute bomb in the seventh inning off Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Andrew Chafin. The ball traveled 422 feet, per Statcast, with a 112.1 mph exit velocity.
