DeVonta Smith has been roasting defensive backs on a regular basis this season, and he did it again in the third quarter of the Citrus Bowl against Michigan. Thanks to a superb, arcing toss by Mac Jones, Smith was able to get into the end zone to on a gorgeous 42-yard touchdown reception.
This was a huge score that put the Crimson Tide up 21-16 after going into halftime down by two points. Though, it wasn’t quite as explosive a play as the one the Tide got from Jerry Jeudy to open the game.
