Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady ignored the NFL Players Association’s insistence on ending group workouts. Now with Brady going against the league, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is seemingly joining him in the rebellion.

Murray, who recently paid an insane amount to fly out and house several of his teammates, worked out with them in a private practice. As the video shows, the players didn’t exactly follow the social distancing guidelines that will be in place when training camp begins.

The NFLPA’s executive director DeMaurice Smith took aim at Brady and Russell Wilson over the weekend for hosting group workouts that aren’t in the best interest of player safety.

The strong pushback came after Brady defied the NFLPA’s wishes by holding multiple group workouts with teammates. The NFL and the players’ union have bee working to keep players safe and healthy before training camp given 10 teams have already had a player test positive for COVID-19.

Given players don’t seem to be listening to the messages from the league, it’s not surprising that a former team doctor has made an ominous prediction for the 2020 season. Even the NFLPA is admitting a 2020 season isn’t a guarantee during the pandemic.
