You don’t typically see linebackers with the speed and savvy to bait quarterbacks into an interception. But that’s exactly what Kwon Alexander did to Andy Dalton on Sunday.
The Cincinnati Bengals were marching down the field with under two minutes left in the first half. Dalton was eyeing tight end Tyler Eifert, who had already caught a touchdown during Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.
That’s when Alexander pounced, cutting in front of the pass from Dalton to stop the drive cold.
Dalton has been pretty sharp in this game, but that was an egregious mistake.
Back to Alexander, he’s clearly 100% recovered from the ACL injury that cut last season short.
