WATCH: Kevin Love ignores reporter’s question in presser

Kevin Love should be ready to help the Cavaliers in their third consecutive NBA Finals matchup against the Warriors.

The Cleveland Cavaliers earned their second consecutive trip to the NBA Finals with a dominating win over the Toronto Raptors in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Friday.

It was an awesome night for the previously downtrodden organization. It also represents the sixth consecutive season that Cavaliers forward and Ohio native LeBron James has earned a trip to the Finals.

James put up 33 points, 11 rebounds and six assists in the 113-87 win. Fellow All-Star Kyrie Irving added 30 points and nine assists.

With those two showing themselves to be the face of the Cavaliers organization, Kevin Love has taken a back seat.

And he knows it.

Here’s Love potentially pretending to fall asleep during the post-game press conference in Toronto on Friday night. It came after a reporter asked him about the team’s performance that evening.

Usually playing the part of a third wheel in these press conferences, Love knows full well that the vast majority of questions are going to be thrown James’ way. The majority of the leftovers will land on Irving’s lap.

There’s also a theory out there that Love was checking his phone, but we don’t like that one as much. You have to love the look on James’ face as we wakens Love from his fog. And then Love’s response.

It appears the Cavaliers are in a good spot mentally heading into the NBA Finals, which will either start in Cleveland against the Oklahoma City Thunder or in Oakland against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.
