The Buffalo Bills opened their first preseason game of 2018 with second-year quarterback Nathan Peterman under center. So far, Peterman has impressed. It did not take long for him to hit up wideout Kelvin Benjamin for a big 28-yard touchdown.
Just watch the pair in action as Benjamin, who continued his beef with Cam Newton just before this game started, shreds his coverage.

It’s early, but Peterman is looking quite sharp after completing all seven of his attempted passes for 75 yards and the score. For this, his current quarterback rating is 150.9.
We will see if this keeps up. This performance marks the first of several we can expect to see from Peterman this preseason as he attempts to edge out his competition.
