Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns has thrown down some ferocious dunks this season. He did so again on Tuesday night.
Towns got the ball and drove immediately to the hoop. Oklahoma City Thunder player Jerami Grant initially thought about trying to defend the play, but changed his mind at the last second.
KAT was going to end Jerami Grant here. So it's probably best Grant got out of the way #AllEyesNorth #ThunderUp

We’d say that was a good decision by Grant. In no way was it going to end well if he tried to either block the shot or draw a charge.
That’s just sick elevation on Towns’ part.
The only way to stop someone like Towns is to keep him from driving to the hoop. Once he gets going, especially with a head of steam, letting him go is the only sensible move.
