What an awesome play this was.
Catching a lateral from quarterback Tom Brady, New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman then tossed the ball to Danny Amendola for a 51-year touchdown to tie the AFC Divisional Playoff matchup up at 28 in the third quarter.
This play couldn’t have been more beautifully executed considering it was Edelman’s very first NFL pass attempt.
New England will need more plays like this, especially with the team down 31-28 in the final stanza.
