It looked like Darqueze Dennard was in perfect position to pick off Ben Roethlisberger on Sunday in the second quarter. Instead, JuJu Smith-Schuster ripped the ball away from the cornerback and came down with a miraculous catch.
He very nearly scored, too. But after review, it was determined that the ball was just short of the goal line as his helmet touched the ground.
That’s illegal in all 50 states, by the way. Just highway robbery. The best possible kind.
One play later, James Conner scored from one yard out (his second of the game), handing Pittsburgh the lead in this game.
