As Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen starts to settle into the NFL, he is quickly making a habit of burning opponents with his legs. He did it once again on Sunday by burning the Detroit Lions with a rushing touchdown.
On second down with Buffalo near the end zone, Allen sat back in the pocket and waited for a wide receiver to come open. When no one did and pressure came off the edge, he slipped out of the defender’s grasp then sped towards the end zone for the touchdown.

The dynamic rookie quarterback came into this game with 90-plus rushing yards in each of his last three contests.
Even when he isn’t breaking off big runs, his speed and ability to evade pressure make him even more of a dangerous weapon near the goal line and plays like this show it.
