LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is following up his magnificent Week 1 performance with another gem Saturday night in Austin against Texas.
Having already connected once with Justin Jefferson in the end zone, he took an aggressive approach just before halftime and made a perfect throw to the receiver, who was smothered in coverage on the play.
The throw was perfect — only Jefferson could have caught it — and the receiver made a tremendous effort to haul in the pass. This score gave LSU a 20-7 lead over Texas at the half.
