San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert was among the most-electric at his position in the NFL last season. That included a record-breaking performance in the playoffs.

Mostert was back up to his old tricks in the defending NFC champion’s season opener against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Check out the running back haul in this short pass from Jimmy Garoppolo, only to turn it up the field for 76 yards and a touchdown.

That was an example of Mostert showing off his world-class speed. We also feel bad for stud Cardinals rookie linebacker Isaiah Simmons. He should never be put in that position, especially this early in his career.

San Francisco opened up a 10-0 lead early in the first quarter before a special teams mistake allowed Arizona right back in the game with a touchdown.

This is one of the most interesting games on the Week 1 slate in that San Francisco is looking to repeat as division champs against what promises to be a vastly improved Cardinals team.
