You know how sometimes when you’re an NFL head coach, the silly old red challenge flag just runs away? Yeah, that happened to Jeff Fisher Sunday.
Already getting torched 17-0 on the road against the New England Patriots, Fisher disagreed with a call on the field and went to challenge the play.
But as you can see here, the challenge flag had mysteriously escaped his pocket system.

Needless to say, the folks on Twitter had a field day with this.
Jeff Fisher not being able to find his challenge flag … feeds into a lot of why people see this as a coaching mismatch

Wonder if Fisher has a Patriots roster in there too.

Jeff Fisher looked like he was pulling out cab receipts from his pocket but couldn't find the challenge flag.

I hope he accidentally used it as a napkin before the game and threw it away. https://t.co/qwqedhjlxg

Fisher has been abysmal as the head coach of the Rams since taking over in 2012, earning a 31-43-1 record. The Rams are 4-7 this year, yet the team said he’s doing a “model job” and gave him a two-year extension.
Rams will Rams. They just have to.
