There are moon shots, and then there are MOON SHOTS. On Sunday as the Cincinnati Reds hosted the Chicago Cubs, Javier Báez hit one that certainly qualifies for the latter.

This ball was absolutely destroyed. It launched off Báez’s bat and left the stadium on a 33-degree angle, going 399 feet, for those of us who are into those particular details.
It also happened to be the second of a back-to-back homer binge by Chicago, as Kyle Schwarber hit a two-run laser beam out just before Báez stepped to the plate.

These displays of power put the Cubs up 3-1 in the third inning over the Reds.
