WATCH: James Washington hauls in insane TD catch through DPI

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Playing without some of their key starters on offense, the Pittsburgh Steelers needed someone to step up in their receiving corps. James Washington did just that with one of the most unbelievable touchdown catches this season.

Quarterback Devlin Hodges took a risk throwing it up in double coverage, but Washington’s absurd play saved the day. Despite being pulled down by his shoulder pad, the 23-year-old hauled in the football as he fell into the end zone for the 30-yard score.

Washington has shown his big-play ability before, including on a 79-yard touchdown that featured a nasty stiff arm. When Hodges and Washington are making plays like this, it’s easy to see why they went duck hunting together.
