WATCH: James Harden drains three before massive collision

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Houston Rockets guard James Harden has now scored 30-plus points in his 31st consecutive game — matching Wilt Chamberlain for second on the all-time list.

What he continues to do on a nightly basis is just outrageous. With 27 points about midway through the third quarter against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, Harden needed a three to hit that plateau.

He did it in style on a four-point play. But that’s not really the story here. Instead, it’s the collision between Harden and Wolves defender Josh Okogie that had everyone buzzing in Minneapolis.

Adding insult to injury, it looks like Okogie got the raw end of the deal. He was down a while holding his head. Fortunately, the youngster was able to remain in the game.

It must also be noted that Okogie turned Harden over twice earlier in the third quarter and blocked one of his patented step-back threes.

Either way, Harden’s ridiculousness knows no bounds.
