WATCH: Jalen Hurts, Sooners roast KSU with amazing 70-yard flea flicker

The Oklahoma Sooners aren’t fair, folks. Exhibit A to prove that point came Saturday against Kansas State, as Jalen Hurts connected with Nick Basquine on a 70-yard flea flicker off an apparent wide receiver screen that caught the Wildcats completely by surprise.

Hurts first tossed a backwards pass to CeeDee Lamb, who is incredibly dangerous on screens. Then, as Lamb cut back toward the inside of the field, apparently looking for a seam, he pitched the ball back to Hurts, who found Basquine wide open down the left sideline.

Here are a couple of different angles of this beautifully designed play by Lincoln Riley.

Shortly afterward, Hurts finished off the drive with a rushing score, which gave the Sooners an early 10-0 lead over the Wildcats.
