WATCH: Ichiro Suzuki absolutely robs Jose Ramirez of a homer

Ichiri Suzuki

In just his second game back with the Seattle Mariners after a five-plus year absence, future Hall of Fame outfielder Ichiro Suzuki is already showing us why he’s one of the greatest players in franchise history.

Playing left field behind starter James Paxton against the Cleveland Indians on Saturday, Ichiro absolutely robbed Jose Ramirez of a home run.

It’s a play we’ve seen Ichiro make many times throughout his near two decades in the Majors. But given that he’s 44 years old, it’s absolutely stunning.

We have to give credit where credit is due. Sure the Mariners are losing. But this play from one of the greatest to ever take to a baseball diamond was absolutely brilliant.

Did we mention that Ichiro is 44 freaking years old? It seems like the 10-time Gold Glove winner is still partying like its 2001. Whew.
