WATCH: Harvard loses touchdown on penalty for flipping off Yale

Even in the Ivy League, football rivalries can get heated and boil over. When the Harvard Crimson and Yale Bulldogs faced off on Saturday, it showed and came back to hurt Harvard.

On a 27-yard touchdown run by sophomore Devin Darrington, officials flagged him for flipping off one of Yale’s defensive backs as he crossed the 10-yard line and ran untouched into the end zone.

The unsportsmanlike conduct not only took points off the board but also cost the offense to move back 15 yards. Harvard would ultimately have to settle for a field goal a few plays later on the drive.
