His New York Giants might have entered Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins losers of nine consecutive, but Golden Tate is not mailing it in for the season.
Just ask pretty much the entire Dolphins secondary as Tate burns the team on a 51-yard touchdown. The catch itself was absolutely amazing, as Tate went in between two defenders, took a hit still kept ticking.
It has not been a great first season for Tate in Jersey. He entered Sunday’s action having caught 37 passes for 461 yards in eight games.
Needless to say, the Giants are going to need much more of this from Tate moving forward if he’s going to live up to his contract.
