WATCH: George Springer rips 463-foot moon-shot home run

Houston Astros leadoff man George Springer is known for his power, which was once more on display Friday night against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Trent Thornton delivered a fastball right in Springer’s wheelhouse, and the center fielder did the rest with an absolutely laced shot to left-center field that went 463 feet and drove in three runs.

Springer has been one of the best leadoff men in the game in recent years. This time, he delivered with men on base to give the Houston Astros a big lead. It was Springer’s 29th home run and 76th RBI of the season.
