Former Pro Bowl running back DeAngelo Williams might very well decide that a return to the gridiron is in the best interest of his health.
Now retired, the 35-year-old Williams is a professional for Impact Wrestling. At the very least, until this display he put on in the ring Thursday evening.
For those of you who are a bit squeamish, the following video might not be for you.
Do we really need to explain what happened here? Williams took a kick to the groin before being nailed in the back by a chair. How Williams got up after taking a foot to the junk remains to be seen.
We’d normally call him a good sport. Maybe, a tough dude. But that’s not going to help anyone.
With four 1,000-plus yard seasons in the NFL, Williams took his fair share of shots. Even then, none of them can compare to what we saw Thursday night. My gosh.
