Duke Blue Devils freshman guard Cassius Stanley came to campus and immediately made an impression with his insane vertical jump. Stanley just put his absurd leaping ability on display once again with one of the best dunks in basketball this year.
During Tuesday’s game against Boston College, Blue Devils forward Jack White saw the high-flying guard come screaming down towards the hoop. When White tossed the ball high into the air, Stanley grabbed it with one hand and finished the monster jam with an emphatic finish.
It’s completely absurd what Stanley can do with a little space. The 6-foot-6 guard’s athleticism is off the charts and he seemingly turns regular games into his own personal dunk contest.
The NBA is clearly in Stanley’s future and we can only hope that he’ll be a future contender in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Perhaps he might even get to face Zion Williamson one year, too.
