Brock Osweiler and the Miami Dolphins are cooking early in Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions. The stopgap starter completed 10 of his first 12 passes for 95 yards, including this five-yard touchdown scoring strike to wide receiver Kenny Stills.

The score brought Miami to within 10-7 midway through the second quarter. Unfortunately, that’s not the story here.
Stills ran into a security guard after scoring said touchdown. While he was a bit banged up, the employee in Miami might have suffered a serious injury.
Both Stills and the woman left the field for further evaluation. There’s no further updates on her condition. But it didn’t look good, at all.
As noted on the broadcast, security guards are trained to have their backs to the playing field. It prevents onlookers from rushing the field itself. In a vacuum, this makes sense. It also puts them at greater risk of injury.
We’re all hoping for the best here.
