Indianapolis Colts running back Jordan Wilkins learned a hard lesson in Thursday’s game against the New England Patriots. Cover the ball with both hands, especially when Devin McCourty is in the area.
Wilkins caught a pass from Andrew Luck and was fighting hard for extra yards. But McCourty saw that Wilkins wasn’t covering the ball well and absolutely ripped the ball away.

The Indianapolis defense did bail Wilkins out on the ensuing possession when it intercepted a Tom Brady pass. But the mistake from Wilkins flipped the field position in a good way in New England’s favor.
For his sake, we’re hoping the rookie running back puts two hands on the ball next time.
