DeShone Kizer wasn’t successful on his first NFL drive, which ended with a three-and-out that led to a Pittsburgh Steelers touchdown on a blocked punt. However, the Cleveland Browns rookie bounced right back after that early bit if frustration to lead a 12-play, 68-yard drive.
And he finished it off by himself with a one-yard touchdown run.
So far, through one quarter, Kizer has been darn impressive. He went 6-for-7 with 45 yards passing to go along with the touchdown run, and his team is now tied up at home against the Steelers. That’s a great way to start one’s career.
