WATCH: DeMarcus Cousins out here acting like the third ‘Splash Brother’

DeMarcus Cousins

The NBA community still isn’t over the two-time defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors being able to land All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins in free agency.

It took yet another perfect storm for this to come to fruition, as Cousins himself took the mid-level exception after suffering an Achilles injury with the New Orleans Pelicans last season.

When the four-time All-Star makes his debut with Golden State at some point this coming season, he’ll join one of the most-talented starting lineups in Association history.

Apparently, he’ll also soon become the third member of the “Splash Brothers,” with the likes of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Just check out Cousins draining three after three during a recent practice session in Las Vegas. It’s all sorts of ridiculous.

People seem to forget that the 6-foot-11, 270-pound Cousins can drill the outside shot. He hit on nearly 36 percent of his three-point attempts as a member of the Pelicans.

That’s going to be brought to a whole new level with the spacing in Golden State’s offense. Not a single defender will look to Cousins as being a bigger threat beyond the arc than Curry, Thompson or Kevin Durant.

Let it rain, Mr. Cousins.
