WATCH: Dee Ford picks Andrew Luck’s pocket on sack-strip

Dee Ford had a message for Darius Leonard on Saturday: Anything you can do, I can do better.

Indianapolis Colts rookie linebacker Leonard came through for his team when it needed him the most on Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Down by the score of 24-7, the Colts had just blown a golden opportunity in part due to a really dumb penalty that set them back. The Chiefs, who’d been pretty much doing whatever they wanted on offense most of the game, were marching again. Then, Leonard ripped the ball out of Sammy Watkins and came up with the recovery.

The Colts looked to be in great shape. They moved into the red zone and appeared to be finally ready to score their first points on offense. That’s when Ford stepped up with the biggest play of the game for Kansas City’s defense.

That’s how you steal the soul of your opponent. The Chiefs have been dominating the game, and right when the Colts looked to finally be getting into it again, they had the rug pulled out from under them.

Heading into the fourth quarter, it’s still a 24-7 game in favor of the Chiefs.
