The dust had not quite settled from Shane Lowry’s hole-in-one on the 16th hole at the Masters when, only two groups later, Davis Love III stepped up to the tee and produced some magic of his own.

Much like Lowry, Love’s ace will have no impact on the final leaderboard. He was 15 strokes behind leader Jordan Spieth after his incredible stroke.

Still, the fact that two holes-in-ones have happened in a span of only three groups shows how exciting this hole can be.

An ace at the Masters will always be an iconic moment. But beyond that, consider it a sneak preview of the excitement that we’re going to see when the leaders are finishing.
