One week after wowing us all with a flawless debut as a member of the New York Giants, rookie Daniel Jones looked very much like a first-year quarterback Friday night against the Chicago Bears.
Following a gorgeous throw to Cody Latimer, Jones lost a fumble when he botched the snap.
Then, a few minutes later, he never saw James Vaughters screaming off the edge. The pass rusher stripped the ball right out of Jones’ hand, then scooped up the ball for the sweet strip-sack combo.
Jones has some tremendous traits to be sure. However, it’s clear that he has some learning to do.
