WATCH: Chiefs’ Damien Williams flagged for petty taunting penalty against Texans

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The Kansas City Chiefs have a lot to be excited about, up by two scores over the Houston Texans after initially falling into a 24-0 hole. But running back Damien Williams took things too far after scoring a touchdown in the third quarter and was busted for taunting a defender.

Check out the petty move here by Williams, who very intentionally put the ball at the feet of defensive tackle Brandon Dunn after being flung backward following his touchdown run.

This penalty was assessed on the kickoff, with Kansas City kicking off from its own 20-yard line. In the end, it didn’t seem to hurt the Chiefs, as the Texans advanced the ball to the 26-yard line on their return.
