WATCH: Celtics rookie Carsen Edwards hits eight threes in one quarter

The Boston Celtics are going to be searching for outside shooting once the regular season opens next week.

They might have found that in the form of rookie second-round pick Carsen Edwards.

If you don’t believe us, just ask the Cleveland Cavaliers. Edwards nailed eight three-pointers in the third quarter alone, showing range that would make some of the game’s best shooters jealous.

That’s just some insane stuff from the smallish 6-foot guard.

He also showed this range while at Purdue, hitting on 41% of his treys as a sophomore in 2017-18 before hitting on a 36% mark last season.

This could loom large for Boston as the team looks to replace both Kyrie Irving and Al Horford during the 2019-20 campaign.
