The New Orleans Pelicans were engaged in a close affair against the Utah Jazz to open up the return of the NBA season in Orlando Thursday.
But much like what we saw prior to the campaign being suspended back in March, first-year Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram was out there doing his thing.
Check out Ingram throw down a dunk over former NBA Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert of the Jazz.
Gobert might have been a step behind, but that was absolutely filthy.
Ingram hit on seven of his first 17 shots, compiling 21 points and seven boards during that span.
Acquired from the Los Angeles Lakers in the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade last summer, Ingram entered Thursday’s action averaging 24.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists thus far this season.
