With the Chicago Bears needing a touchdown to force overtime against the New York Giants, Matt Nagy went into his bag of tricks.
Chase Daniel handed the ball to Trey Burton — he was front-and-center in Super Bowl LII’s famed “Philly Special” — who flipped the ball to Tarik Cohen. Cohen then hit a wide open Anthony Miller in the end zone for a touchdown.
This is the kind of play that would come under heavy criticism if it didn’t work. But we just can’t argue with results like this.
