WATCH: Bears fans boo team off field at halftime against Chiefs

The Chicago Bears went into halftime to a loud chorus of boos Sunday night, down 17-0 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The second quarter ended with a Bears penalty on a false start as the offense attempted to spike the ball for one final Hail Mary attempt. After the refs announced the penalty and that the half was over, Bears fans let their team have it.

Coming into the game with a 7-7 record, having already been eliminated from playoff contention, the Bears aren’t exactly giving their hometown fans something to cheer about.

This season’s failure is all the more keen considering Chicago’s 12-4 record. A team many thought could contend for a Super Bowl now has more questions than answers. So it’s not surprising that the Bears are hearing their fans boo at this point.
