The Houston Astros are somewhat up against it as they look to even the World Series against the Washington Nationals in Game 2 on Wednesday night.

Already down 2-0 after Justin Verlander gave up two runs in the top of the first, Houston needed someone to step up.

That came in the form of AL MVP candidate Alex Bregman, who has struggled throughout the entire playoffs.

With two outs in the bottom of the first, Bregman took Stephen Strasburg deep for a two-run blast to even the game.

As you can see from this angle, it was a “no doubt about her” blast from one of the game’s most potent hitters. It traveled 411 feet with an exit velocity of 103 mph.

It also couldn’t have come at a better time for Bregman and his Astros. The third baseman entered Game 2 of the World Series having put up just four hits in his previous 23 at-bats.
