WATCH: Andrew Wiggins one-ups Carmelo Anthony, banks in three-pointer to beat OKC at the buzzer

Down by two points after Carmelo Anthony drilled a three-pointer late in the fourth quarter, Andrew Wiggins played superhero for a day. The Oklahoma City Thunder fell hard when the Minnesota Timberwolves’ talented shooting guard drilled a three-pointer of his own at the final buzzer, banking it in, no less.

Wiggins finished the game with 27 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals. Better yet, the T-Wolves were +15 with Wiggins on the court. This lends credence to the idea that Wiggins might actually be worth the big-money deal he inked this year.

Beating a powerhouse Western Conference team like this gives this young team, now 2-1, some momentum early in the season.
