The USC Trojans have been looking for ways to get the football in receiver Amon_Ra St. Brown’s hands. He showed everyone exactly why on Saturday by incinerating Arizona State’s secondary for a 95-yard touchdown.

USC’s offense sat pinned too its own five-yard line on third down and looking for a big play to move the chains. Slovis got time in the pocket and launched a bullet over the middle to St. Brown, who slipped by the safety then strolled through 60 yards of open space for the score.

Of course, St. Brown might need to give a little credit to Arizona’s defensive back for taking out two other defenders behind him. While it’s unlikely either of them would come close to beating St. Brown in a foot face, the friendly fire made it even easier.

Some inconsistency on offense has prevented St. Brown from reaching his true potential this season. Plays like this show just what he’s capable of and what he can accomplish with great quarterback play.
