WATCH: Aaron Rodgers picked at goal line after horrible drop

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was not getting help from his pass-catchers Monday night against the Detroit Lions.

Down 19-13 in the fourth quarter, Rodgers hit Darrius Shepherd on what looked to be a go-ahead touchdown. That’s when everything went awry.

Shepherd slipped at the goal line before seeing the ball bounce off his face mask and into the hands of Lions corner Justin Coleman, who returned it 55 yards into Green Bay’s side of the field.

The end result was another Lions field goal and a nine-point lead. Detroit scored nine points on three Packers turnovers up to that point. You can do the math from there.
