New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge is heating up big time as we enter the latter stages of the dog days of summer.
Known for swinging a heavy bat dating back to his rookie season of 2017, Judge just became the third fastest player in MLB history to hit 100 homers.
It came in the first inning of Tuesday’s game against Yusei Kikuchi and the Seattle Mariners.
As noted, only teammate Gary Sanchez and former Phillies star Ryan Howard reached the 100-homer plateau quicker than Judge.
Judge, 27, started his career by hitting a MLB rookie record 52 homers back in 2017. And while he’s hit only 44 since the start of last season, things seem to be on the upswing for the power hitter.
