Monday ended up being a good day for San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle D.J. Jones. And it had absolutely nothing to do with his team’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
Jones went down on one knee before the game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara and proposed to his girlfriend.
She said yes! The shock on her face as Jones went down on bended knee is amazing. What a great moment for the young couple.
Jones could record three sacks of Baker Mayfield Monday night and it would not come close to comparing to this life-altering moment.
We’re just happy his better half said yes. It could have got all sorts of awkward.
