The last time the U.S. Open was at Shinnecock Hills, the greens were incredibly fast. Things don’t look to be any different this time around.
Check out this video, which was taken of the 18th hole at Shinnecock Hills by @radargolfpro on Instagram. Nothing was coming close to stopping the ball.
That just doesn’t even seem fair.
It will be interesting to see if the USGA waters the course down through the week. If not, the 18th hole figures to play very difficult.
