Toronto Blue Jays star rookie Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was forced to exit Saturday’s game against the Seattle Mariners after tweaking his knee.
Shi Davidi of Sportsnet noted Guerrero “left the game with knee discomfort and is undergoing further evaluation,” per the Blue Jays. He also included a video clip of a play Guerrero made that could perhaps have been how he injured his knee.
Since being called up to Toronto earlier this year, Guerrero has done nothing but impress, making history in the process. So far this season, he has a .275 batting average with 14 home runs and 52 RBI.
