Virtus.pro’s fame signs four-year extension

Petr “fame” Bolyshev of Russia signed a four-year contract extension with Virtus.pro on Tuesday.

Financial terms were not disclosed by the organization for fame, who joined Virtus.pro on May 31, 2022 following a 16-month stint with K23.

“With the help of the club’s management, coaching staff and our captain, I have been able to flourish in Virtus.pro and continue to progress,” fame said. “We are still hungry for victories and believe in each other. VP is the club I want to play for and win with.”

Virtus.pro CEO Nikolai Petrossian likes what he sees in the future of fame.

“fame has been showing a good level of play and championship ambitions for quite some time now, and he only turned 20 this year,” Petrossian said. “Petr demonstrates professionalism not only with in-game matters but also in terms of work ethics, always ready to listen to advice from more experienced teammates.

“Re-signing the contract with him is a significant step in our long-term strategy regarding the CS2 lineup.”

Virtus.pro’s all-Russian roster consists of fame, Dzhami “Jame” Ali, Evgenii “FL1T” Lebedev, Nikolay “mir” Bityukov and David “n0rb3r7” Danielyan. Kazakhstan’s Dastan “dastan” Akbayev is the team’s coach.
