Vikings heavily booed at home against Broncos

The Minnesota Vikings are currently getting lambasted by the Denver Broncos, and not surprisingly their fans are not in a cheerful mood.

Already down 17-0 in the second quarter, Minnesota’s offense went backwards. After a first-down run that went nowhere, the Vikings were hit with a 10-yard holding penalty on second down. Then they ran up the middle with Dalvin Cook, who gained a yard. On 3rd-and-19, Kirk Cousins dumped it off to Ameer Abdullah on a screen pass for a five-yard gain.

These two plays ticked fans off, and they not surprisingly booed the Vikings.

It’s a total let-down game from Minnesota against a very beatable Broncos team. Prior to Sunday’s contest, the Vikings had won five of their last six games, their only blemish being a three-point loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

If things don’t get turned around in a hurry, the boo birds will only get louder.
