Vikings’ Dalvin Cook seems to blast Stefon Diggs

It’s not a well-kept secret that Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs is unhappy about the team’s current situation.

Diggs missed practice earlier this week and is reportedly upset with the lack of targets he’s received from Kirk Cousins through the first four games. It led to the youngster being fined $200,000 by the Vikings.

In talking about the run-first nature of their offense, running back Dalvin Cook seemed to put Diggs on blast. It came in the form of comparing his team to Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys.

We’re not 100% sure what to make of this, but it does seem that Cook is pointing out Diggs’ unhappiness.

The Vikings have made it clear they are not trading their starting receiver. That’s fine. At issue here is drama that could engulf the team as it looks to improve off a 2-2 start to the season.

Minnesota ranks 31st in the NFL in passing offense and is averaging just 21 points per game head into Sunday’s outing against the New York Giants.
