Vikings apply for for ‘Minnesota Miracle’ trademark, three others

A shocking 61-yard game-winning touchdown pass thrown from Case Keenum to Stefon Diggs was nothing short of miraculous in last Sunday’s Divisional win over the New Orleans Saints.

The touchdown is now known as both the “Minneapolis Miracle” and “Minnesota Miracle.” Now, according to a report by Darren Rovell of ESPN, the Vikings have applied for four total trademarks to those terms.

Per the report, the trademark filings showed up in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Friday.

The plan is for the team to market more than 100 types of merchandise containing the trademarked logos, according to Rovell.

We are bound to see fans hoisting banners and signs sporting the logos when the Vikings head to Philadelphia to play the Eagles in the NFC Conference playoffs.Though, the Eagles will have some pretty fun support from their own fans, who’ve bought out Amazon’s stock of underdog masks.
